The role of wire mesh demister for oil-water separation
There are many kinds of oil-water separators. The principle is that oil and water are incompatible, and the density of the oil is small to separate. Of course, this separation is not complete, and there may be small oil droplets in the water. For oil absorption, the commonly used dissolved oil is carbon tetrachloride, which is denser than water. When passing through water, the residual oil in the water can be absorbed. This process is called extraction.
The function of the oil-water separator is to separate the water droplets or oil droplets from the gas from the aftercooler. There are various types, such as annular rotary type, centrifugal rotary type and impact baffle type, etc. The separator hits the baffle, the mixed gas is cooled, the oil and water condensate and flow into the bottom of the separator and flow out, and the gas separated by the oil and water is released from the outlet.
Applications:
250 (AX) large production capacity, less theoretical series, handcraft rectification;
500 (BX) heat-sensitive and difficult-to-separate vacuum distillation, especially vacuum distillation with pressure less than 7KPa;
Separation of 700 (CY) isotopic mixtures and isomeric mixtures.
